She was predeceased by: her parents, Apolonio Sanchez and Juanita Sanchez (Perez); her great grandchild Elijah Torres; and her siblings, Evaristo Sanchez, Severa Badillo, Maria Aguinaga and Arora Perez.

She is survived by: her children, Maria Garza, Sandy Mejer (Steve), Deborah Dahlia Garza, Guillermo Garza, Jr. (Sariah) and Joaquin Garza (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Raquel Torres, Ryan Roberson (Jaclyn), Simone Mejer (Timothy McCreery, Jr.), Ericka Thomas, Alyssa Garza, Cameron Garza, Steven Thomas, Jr., Braxton Garza (Shelby) and Caden Garza.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Funeral Home (824 S Mayflower Dr, South Bend, IN 46619).
