We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2023, at the age of 86, Rachel Vela Roche (South Bend, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregorio and Laura; her husbands, Jay and Jack; her brothers, Robert, Rudy and Raymond; her son Gregory Vela; and her son-in-law John Mountsier.
She is survived by: her brother Reginald; her children, Elizabeth, Libby Mountsier (Larry Davis) and Michael Vela (SanDee); her daughter-in-law Donna Vela; her grandchildren, Ricky Mountsier (Nicky), Maggie Youngblood (Seth), Marc Vela (Blake), Karen Valentine (Kenny), Eric Vela, Gabriel Vela and Matthew Gregory Vela; her great grandchildren, Scarlett and Liam Youngblood; and her brothers, Richard, Greg and Reggie Rucoba. She is also survived by loving 40 nieces and nephews.
