She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose E. White (Winston) and Richard C. Chester Sr.; her grandparents, James Robert, Lucretia Winston, George and Betsie Chester; and her granddaughters, DeShyra Shamone Smith and Zayla Enice O'Neal.
She is survived by: her daughters, LaKendra Griffin and Karina Griffin; her grandchildren, Armone'Smith, De'Aja Smith, Kinleigh Griffin, Deshyra Shamone Smith, Cortez Moore, Dante Washington, Zayvierre O'Neal, Zaylo O'Neal and Julius O'Neal; her siblings, Ramona L. White, Darius White, Richard "Dickie" Chester Jr. and Renee Chester; and her siblings' children, Shamikka Frazier, Willie Smith Jr., Erika Herron, SanQuan Frazier, DeShone Chester, Eboni Frazier, Amber Rose White, Denzel Williams and Jada White. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
