He was predeceased by: his father A. W. Carr. He is survived by: his children, Timothy K. Carr, Vikki Maenhout of South Bend and Dan Carr of South Bend; his grandchildren, Drew Thomas (Andre), Morgan Maenhout, Keaton Maenhout and Blake Barrett; and his great grandchildren, Hadley and Parker Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Richard D. Carr may be donated to the Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
