Richard Allen Galvas Obituary

Richard Allen Galvas, born on May 18, 1950, passed away on October 24, 2026. Richard leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stanley and Dolores Bernice Galvas (Wujcik); his brother Brian Galvas; and his close friend Beverly. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Nemeth (Bernie), Nick Galvas (Deborah Ann), Marie Galvas and Diane Galvas; his sister-in-law Debra Galvas; his stepdaughter Lynsey Ksiezyc (Marcin); his stepgrandson Korbin Ksiezyc; his niece Kari Crusius (Jeff); his nephews, Robert Nemeth (Giselle), Joel Galvas (Lisa) and Landon Galvas (Jen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bella Galvas, Serena Galvas, Kaitlyn Crusius, Christopher Crusius, Lucas Nemeth and Thomas Nemeth.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Funeral Home (824 S Mayflower Dr, South Bend, IN 46619). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

Memorial Contributions may be made to FFA Laporte Chapter or the Wounded Warrior Program in honor Richard Allen Galvas.
