He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maxey and Thelma Maxey (Moore); his wife Judith Weiss; and his brother Sheldon. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Kowalski (Christopher), Marcia Greenwood (Christopher) and Dean Maxey; his grandchildren, Andrew (Noelani), Jon (Chelsea), Emily (Tyler), Connor, Cassidy and Melanie; and his brother James Maxey (Coralice). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Michiana Christian Academy or to Deer Run Church of Christ.
