Rick A. Balmer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick A. Balmer of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rick A. Balmer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger E. Balmer and Patricia A. Balmer (Whybrew); his brother Ryan Balmer; and his granddaughter Emma Hart. He is survived by: his wife Paula Balmer of South Bend; his children, Jamie Hart (Brian), Roger Balmer (Jess) and Amanda Weigand (Landon); his grandchildren, Tristan Balmer, Kyleigh Mason, Ryenne Balmer, Amelia Hart, Arianna Balmer, Isabelle Hart, Lane Hart, Edward Cenkush, Charlee Kimbel, Jayce Kimbel, Kylie Weigand and Jaedon Weigand; and his siblings, Sherri Balmer, Mark Balmer (Kathy), Michael Balmer, Lori Rayl (Bryan), Ron Balmer (Lori) and Tom Balmer.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Mark Missionary Church (55240 Bittersweet Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545).
With his siblings, he founded the S.A. Ryan Balmer Memorial Fund in memory of their youngest brother with the purpose of helping local veterans in need.
