She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kubasik and Eleanor Kubasik (Wawrzyniak); her husband Thomas Kane; and her brother Robert Kubasik. She is survived by: her children, Paul Kane (Mary) of Niles, MI and Pam Hostetler (John) of South Bend; her grandsons, Steven Hostetler (Rosanne) of South Bend, Erik Kane (Rebecca) of Niles, MI and Scott Kane (Elaina) of Goshen, IN.; her great grandchildren, Carter Hostetler, Arianna Hostetler, Jack Kane, Dylan Kane and Everett Kane; and her sister-in-law Annette Kubasik.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Rita Kane may be made out to Corpus Christi Catholic Church or School, 2822 Corpus Christi Dr, South Bend, IN 46628.
