With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Nute Sawyer Jr. of South Bend, Indiana, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on November 29, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nute and Frances Catherine Sawyer (Drake). He is survived by: his children, Catherine Ann Oosterhoff (Wayne) of South Bend and Robert Frederick Sawyer (Amy) of Macomb, MI; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Vogel, Austin Oosterhoff (Miranda), Tyler Oosterhoff, Molly Vogel, Benjamin Sawyer, Jonathan Sawyer, David Sawyer and Laura Sawyer.
