It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger I Hintz of South Bend, Indiana, born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hintz and Florine Hintz (Accoe); his former wife Arlene De Peel; and his siblings, Shirley, Joann Hintz and Roland Hintz.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Mendelsohn (Eisbrenner); his children, Roger Hintz Jr. (Diane), Marsha Roberts (Dave), Marianne Hollopeter, Diana Mendelsohn and Roy Mendelsohn; his grandchildren, Eric, Ryan, Rebecca, Kenda, Derick, Jenny, Forrest, Glen and John; and his siblings, Amelia Whitinger and David Hintz. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
