He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gunnar and Ann Jernstrom (Csiszar). He is survived by: his wife Gayle B. Niedbalski; his son Jay Jernstrom (Cynda); his grandson Gunnar Jernstrom; his siblings-in-law, Ray Nied and Linda Niedbalski; and his cousin Mary Ann Sorocco.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Casimir Catholic Church (1308 Dunham St, South Bend, IN 46619).
