She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. Ware and Ruby Ware Ellis; her siblings, Roberta Edwards, Willie L. Ewrun, Barbara Robinson and Cleo Turner; and her son Dwight F. Ivory.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Ferrell (Tianna) of South Bend, IN; her stepdaughter Cheryl Carr of Kalamazoo, MI; her daughters, Donnie, Janice Johnson of South Bend, IN and Minister Connie Witherspoon of South Bend, IN; her godson Kirk B. Kyle (Bridgett) of Atlanta, GA; her nephew Keith Kyle of Atlanta, GA; and her siblings, Rosie L. Miller of Memphis, TN and Edward Ware of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
