Ruby L. Walker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby L. Walker (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ollie Mae Walker; her children, Stacy Walker and Eric Walker; and her siblings, Annie Walker, John L Smith, David Walker, Charles Walker (Sue) and Walter Walker.
She is survived by: her father Charles Sr. Walker; her daughters, Terry Walker-Moore (Dennis) of Covington, GA and Whitney Hogan (Timothy) of South Bend, IN.; her grandchildren, Stacey Hogan, Crystal Hogan and Seth Weaver; her sisters, Betty Ford (Frank) and Helen Joyce Driver (Eddie) of Kalamazoo, Michigan.; and her daughters, Carissa Brown-Bradford of Hopkinsville, KY, Jennifer Hawkins (Kent) of Kansas City, MO., Sonia Nimrod of Kansas City, MO. and Carmen Holmes (Danny) of Kansas City, MO.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and friends.
Ruby eventually retired in 1998 after serving as a property manager at the South Bend Heritage Home Foundation.
