He was predeceased by: his father Paul Sweeden; his granddaughter Alyson Sweeden; and his siblings, Dorothy Wood, Pat Jones and Paul Sweeden.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sweeden (Scott); and his children, Terri Sriver (Charlie) of Bonita Springs, FL, Juli Emberton (Clint) of South Bend, IN, Tom Sweeden (Laura) of Des Moines and Tim Sweeden (Regina) of Westfield, IN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
