She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Shaw, David Zakowski, Dianne Zakowski, Elaine Sizemore, Ted Zakowski (Jennifer) and Paul Zakowski (Diane); her nieces and nephews, Amy Shaw (Matt Murphy), Jennifer Balta (Brian), Jill Zakowski, Jessica Zakowski, Sydney Zakowski, Matthew Zakowski, Seth Sizemore, Ben Zakowski and Nick Zakowski; her great-niece Lucy Murphy; and her great-nephew Miles Murphy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Funeral Home (824 S Mayflower Dr, South Bend, IN 46619). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Adalbert Catholic Church (2505 W Grace St, South Bend, IN 46619). A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
