She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Griffen Sr.; and her husband Wallace Goodhew. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Goodhew (Kathy) of Boulder, CO, Phillip Goodhew (Mary) of Union, MI and Thomas Goodhew (Renee) of Eugene, OR; her grandchildren, Becky Vroom, Sarah Glover (Alex), Laura, Nicole, Shauna, Lisa, Joe, John, Mary and Abby; her great grandchildren, Silas and Hank; and her sister Katherine Hall (Rob) of Dowagiac, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shirley's name may be made to First United Methodist Church, 333 N. Main St., South Bend, IN.
