He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Largent and Florence Largent (McGreevey); his son Noah Thomas Laidig; and his brother Jeff Largent (late Karen Kuespert). He is survived by: his wife Monica Mueller Laidig; his children, Bradley Largent (Cara), Ben Largent, Ava Marie Laidig and Janel Wilson; and his siblings, Nancy Campbell (Charles) and David Largent (Carol). He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Research Institute or the Northwestern Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant program.
