He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Rupert and Mary Lou Rupert (Mills); and his brother David. He is survived by: his sister Sandy Rupert Graves (Dave) of Griffin; his nephew Andy Graves (Tonia) of Duluth, Georgia.; his wife Linda Carmean Lewis; his stepdaughters, Julie Lewis Meiszberg (Mike) of Granger and Jodie Lewis Raker (Brad) of Clearwater, Florida.; his grandchildren, Kailyn Meiszberg Johnston (Briar), Kassidy Meiszberg, Karsen Meiszberg, Mary Ava Raker and Maddie Raker; and his great grandchildren, Casey, LillyAnn and Waylon. He is also survived by married on August 22, 1992, at his parents.
