She was predeceased by: her parents, Vince Koziatek and Adeline Koziatek (Ruskowski); her husband Tom Gapinski; and her daughter Kelly Winkel (Carl). She is survived by: her children, Kaity Ta (Joe), Chris Gapinski (Karen) and Kenny Gapinski (Hanny); and her siblings, Norm Koziatek (Kaye), John Koziatek (Tari) and Sandy Koziatek (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church (2310 E Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46615).
