Block of South Bend, Indiana, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Frances and Bernice Block (Dryer); his son Brian P. Block; and his siblings, Patricia Heynssens and Lawrence Block.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn A. Milcarek; his children, Melissa Risetter (Jeff) of Valparaiso, Debbie Matheis (Mark) of South Bend, Indiana, Michael Block (Gayle) of Portage and Douglas Block (Regina) of Bossier City, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Trent, Jeremy Risetter, Mallori Colvin, James Matheis, Karli Brooke, Rachael Espinosa Vazquez (Victor), Rebecca Block, Amanda Block, Nathan Block, Mackenzie Block, Cara Robbins (Mitchell), Stacey Block and Tagin Block; and his great grandchildren, Alissa, Hudson, Veida and Victor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family also requests contributions to be sent to Kaniewski Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
