He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Welsh (Nardini) and Charles Welsh. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Haywood; his sons, Dr. Timothy J. Welsh (Lindsay Weidman) of New Orleans, LA and Dr. John A. Welsh (Alison Atkins) of Winston-Salem, NC; his granddaughters, Clara and Delia; and his siblings, Barbara Dawson (Phil) of Drexel Hill, PA, Sally Beech of Boston, MA, Virginia Tanner (Dane) of Downingtown, PA and Lawrence Welsh (Carol) of Glen Mills, PA..
