He was predeceased by: his father Eric "Rick" Wincek; and his grandparents, John, Beverly Wincek, Stanley and Irene Mucha.

He is survived by: his mother Mary Lou Wincek (Mucha) of South Bend, Indiana; his brother Andrew J. Wincek of Indianapolis, Indiana; his goddaughter Morgan Kramer; and his pet Marcus. He is also survived by many extended family members including aunts, uncles and cousins.
