She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustaf T. Carlson and Hildur Carlson; her stepdaughter Nancy Lord; and her siblings, Marva Jean Carlson, Dorothy Mae Carlson and Ted Carlson.
She is survived by: her husband C. Everett Snyder; her sibling's children, Robert Carlson (Mary), Gary Carlson (Debra), Cheryl Peyton (James), Christine Deitchley (Kenneth), Laureen Whitacre (Kirby) and Vernelle; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amy Deitchley, Angela Carlson, Kristen Eby, Alexis Whitacre, Laurel Thomas, Rachel Curren, Matthew Deitchley and Anthony Whitacre.
Memorial contributions in Vernelle's honor may be made to the Covenant Community Church.
