He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Hurstel; his children, Maureen Miller (Thomas Tamm), Tim Miller (Susan) and Carolyn Rupchock (Dan); and his siblings, Mary Lou Shearon (Ken) and Jerry Miller.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Parish or Hannah's House.
