He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sipes and Delphia Louise Sipes (Blackburn); his daughter Mary Anne Sipes; and his siblings, Mary, Frances, Betty Jane, Cyrus, Ralph E. and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Joanne Sipes Kolberg (David), Kimberly Potts (David), William Sipes Jr. (Anne) and Andrew Sipes (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Trish Kolberg, Deanna Kolberg-Shah (Niral), Elisabeth Sipes and Cayden Sipes; and his brother Daniel Sipes (Esther). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
