Wilma J. (Gentry) Smiechowski Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2024, at the age of 91, Wilma J. (Gentry) Smiechowski of South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Wilma farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Wilma is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harvey and Mary Inez Gentry (Jennings); her sons, William J., Michael D., Joseph E. and Eugene M. Smiechowski; and her sisters, Deloris E. Dunklebarger, Maxine Nova and Ethel L. Coleman. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice foundation in Wilma's honor.
