He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Dingus and Pauline Dingus (Shepherd); his wife Linda Dingus (Juillerat); and his siblings, James Dingus, Robert Dingus, William Howard, Juanita Howard, Willa Dingus, Nancy Woods and Phillip Dingus.

He is survived by: his children, Doug Dingus (Tina) of Lugoff, SC, Dianna Gibson (Matt) of Columbia City and Donnetta Dingus of Columbia City; his grandchildren, April Wise (Colby), Hunter Dingus, Danielle Kelly and Linda Dingus; his great grandchild Hadley Wise; and his siblings, Patricia Ann Minnix of Pierceton, Hester Dingus of Pierceton and Mitchell Dingus (Connie) of New Concord, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
