We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2025, at the age of 79, Maurice Kent Grimes of Speedway, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Grimes and Jean Grimes; and his brother-in-law Steve Allen. He is survived by: his wife Susan Grimes of Speedway, Indiana; his children, Amy Meador (Sean) of Columbus, Indiana, Lou Grimes (Carmel) of Speedway, Indiana and Sarah Welty (Jason) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren, Chrissy Teo (Andrew), Rachael Rankin (Ben), Morgan Grimes, Makayla Grimes, Isabelle Welty and Keagan Welty; his great grandchild Ripley Teo; and his sisters, Beverly Dedert (Wayne) and Rita Allen.
