He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Singleton Hallam and Lucile Ervin Hallam; his former wife Jane Uhrhan Hallam; his wife Jeanne Caldwell Hallam; his daughter Kimberly Jeanne Scheller; and his brothers, Ervin Richard Hallam and Kenneth Leslie Hallam.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Yarling (Chiharu); and his granddaughters, Alisa and Kayla Yarling.
