He was predeceased by : his parents, Arlie Wayne and Ressie Whitaker (Routier); his wife Viola Whitaker; and his siblings, Raymond, Ronald, Robert, Oris Whitaker, Maxine Hayes, Mary Walls, Ethel Stogsdill, Bonnie Whitaker and Doris Whitaker.
He is survived by : his sons, Daniel Whitaker of Paris, IL and Andrew Whitaker (Judylee) of Spencer, IN; and his sister Rosie Walls (James) of Martinsville, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
