The memory of Elena Lewis of Spencer, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Slipp Gardiner and Alice Vera Meaden; her husband Jerry Ellsworth Lewis; her stepson Rusty; her sister Lexey Dunn; and her stepfather Lex Meaden.
She is survived by: her children, Cassie Babbs (Rob), Allan Lewis (Andrea "Angel") and Jerry Todd Lewis (Georgiana "Angie"); her stepsons, Ricky Lewis and Randy Lewis; her siblings, Deseree Meaden, Darrel Meaden and Donna Preble; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Thacker and Sue Lewis. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home (105 N Montgomery St, Spencer, IN 47460). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
