He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Welch; his children, Wendy Welch of Solsberry, Thomas Welch of Austin, Timothy of Bloomington, Jeffrey Welch of Bloomington, Melanie Lighter (Tim) and Shawn Frye (Amanda); his grandchildren, Susan Petty, Sam Welch, Olivia Welch, Samaritan Lighter and McKenzie Booher (Lucas); his great grandchildren, Karma Petty, Lilith Petty and Lillian Booher; and his brother Charles Welch (Cindy).
