Frances Sanders Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Frances Sanders of Spencer, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Swinford and Violet Swinford (DeBaun); her children, Rick Smith, Calvin Alwardt, Terry Alwardt and Debbie Storms; her sister Carolyn Johnson; and her granddaughters, Tonya Gearhardt and Tequila Baker.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Alwardt (Stacy) of Edgewood, Wayne Alwardt (Pamela) of Shelbyville and Paul Sandefur (Annette Carew) of St. Paul; and her sister Paula Chitwood of Spencer. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 42 great granchildren; and 24 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home (437 Amos Rd, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter, in care of the funeral home.
