He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Cleo and Hazel Edwards (Turner); and his siblings, Herschel Frank Edwards, Sherry Ann Edwards, Doris Irene Edwards, Richard Cleo Edwards, Nancy Jane Edwards, Charles William Edwards and Howard Keith Edwards.

He is survived by : his brothers, Herman Phillip Edwards and James Marvin Edwards Sr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
