He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barger and Caroline Barger (Sears); his daughter Misty Dawn Chapman; and his brother Theron Barger. He is survived by: his wife Sharron Barger (Ridgway); his grandchildren, Nolyn and Kierra Wyatt; his niece Teresa Barger-McGill; and his aunt Cozenna Reed.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home (105 N Montgomery St, Spencer, IN 47460). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
