Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mildred Maxine Burks of Spencer, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 92, on December 26, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence C. Bruner and Ruth Bruner (Keller); her husband Harold Burks; her brother Lloyd C. Bruner; and her great grandchild Cydney J. Hollers.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Jill Smith (Joe) of Bloomington, Ross Morgan of Bloomington, Rhea Hollers (Jason) of Bloomington, Rachel Nicholson (Dale) of Spencer and Ashley Burks of Solsberry; her sisters, Barbara Freeman of Spencer, Martha Terrell of Spencer, Janet Hamm (Don) of Spencer and Jacque Stigall of Spencer; and her sister-in-law Kay Bruner of Bloomington. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
