With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally Rood (Spencer, Indiana), born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on June 7, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donald Ray and Roberta "Bobbie" Ellen Kindred (Hoot); her husband Boomer; her children, Sharla Mae Mooy of Bloomington, James CalaRay Rood (Kayla Lawrence) of Bloomington and Kaytie Jewell Grace (Jordon Bastin) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Walker Saunders, Shayln Saunders, Paislee Saunders, Bailey Rood, Corbin Rood, Kelsey Rood, Juwan Bastin, Jacob Bastin and Ta'Laizah Bastin; her sister Sara Kindred of Spencer; and her pets, Jack, Lola and Clyde.

Because Sally loved animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County Humane Society through the funeral home.
