He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Leroy Means and Lilian Eva Means Dever (Kling); his grandson Jeffery Gloyd; his brother Lloyd Means; and his siblings-in-law, Phil Hudson and Cheryl Means.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Means (Saari) of Spencerville; his children, David Means (Susan) of Leo and Deborah Tester (Larry Cagley) of Butler; his stepdaughter Jaime Brunson (Josh) of Fort Wayne; and his siblings, Carolyn Hudson of Auburn, Loren Means (Joie) of Fort Wayne, Lyle Means (Joan) of Fort Wayne, Joyce Geise (Greg) of Hamilton, Rita Gebo (Dewey) of Leo and Lowell "Bud" Means of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
