He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Clapp and Minnie Mae Clapp (Arnold); his wife Joan C. Clapp; his sons, Brian Clapp and Danny Clapp; and his grandson David Michael Saunders.
He is survived by : his children, Carol Johnson (Steve) of Spiceland, Greg Clapp (Kebe) of Falmouth, Laurie Hamilton (Jamie) of Knightstown and Sandy Breese (Gary Van Schoyck) of Rushville; his grandchildren, Heather Hamilton (Kelly) of Greenfield, Brandon Johnson (Amanda) of Indianapolis, Ben Hamilton of Indianapolis, Sara Booth (Pat) of Knightstown, Dana Martin of Indianapolis, Darcy Grady of Anderson, Casey Brown (Kyle) of Knightstown, Carmen Bowling (Zach) of Indianapolis and Morgan Huffman (Anthony) of Milroy; and his great grandchildren, P. J., Shelby Booth, Cayden Moore, Joanie Bowling, Preslee, Paxton Brown, Elizah Huffman, Connor Johnson and Olivia Grady. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
