It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Lee Day of Spiceland, Indiana, born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Louis and Ventla Marie Day (Chriswell); his grandson Tobias Brummett; and his nephew Jeff Rinehart. He is survived by : his wife Sharon Lee Day (Washburn); his daughters, Amie Lisa Thornburg (William Patrick) and Jenifer Lynn Day; his grandchildren, Emily Catron (Taylor), Lindsey Wicker (Joel), Kirstin Saunders (Troy), Erica Brummett (Blake) and Joshua Lee (Bailey); his great grandchildren, Aiden Skillman, Emmy Lee, Dallas Lee and Jordan Saunders; his siblings, Connie Masters (Richard) and Michael Joseph Day; his niece Julie Rinehart; and his great-nephew Cody Hoopingarner.
