It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brent Eric Crockett of Springport, Indiana, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James M. Crockett; his stepfather David French; his stepbrother Jay French; and his grandparents, Haden, Gladys Jessee, Cullom and Edna Crockett.
He is survived by: his mother Yvonne French (Jessee) of Springport; his brother Brad E. Crockett of Newburgh, IN; and his stepsiblings, Dale French (Joyce) of New Castle, Ben French (Patsy Castillo) of Fort Myers, FL, Linda Ratcliff of Spiceland and Connie Smith (Edward) of Straughn. He is also survived by cousins and many good friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
