He was predeceased by: his parents, Creston Peyton and Olive Peyton (Chambers); his former wife Linda Peyton; his wife Patricia Peyton; and his brother Doug Peyton.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Peyton II (Tina) of Nashville, TN and Laura Whittle (Gary) of New Castle; his grandchildren, Justin Peyton (Jessica), Natasha Stoneking (Jeff) of Nashville, TN, Michael Whittle of New Castle and Cresta Wickes of New Castle; his great grandchildren, Jasper Whittle, Ella, Colton Moore, Alex, Isaac Peyton, Caroline and Carson Stoneking; his stepdaughter Gina Lowe (Michael) of New Castle; his sister Dorthea Porter of Seal Beach, CA; his nephews, Jay Midkiff of Seal Beach, CA and Brian Peyton of New Castle; his niece Cindy Peyton of Rushville; and his siblings-in-law, Sonny Carter (Pat), Mike Carter (Lynne), Joyce Papenhaus and Shirley Ellson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
