He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Taflinger and Norma Taflinger (Babylon); his sister Constance Jo "Connie" Ashley; his grandparents, Simon and Evangeline Taflinger; and his uncle Richard "Red" Taflinger.
He is survived by: his fiancée Hope Logston of Springport; his niece Abigayle Taflinger (Samantha Taflinger) of Middletown; his children, Jeremiah Logston of New Castle, Elijah Logston of Springport and Angela Ellis of Beech Grove; his niece Hopes; his grandchildren, Makiya of New Castle, Kole Grubbs of New Castle and Reagan Ellis of Beech Grove; and his cousins, Sandy Bush (Trent) of Parker City and Cindy Harris of Lady Lake, Florida..
