With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Ruth Puett of Springville, Indiana, who passed away on January 6, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Clayton and Zella Clayton; her husband Delbert Puett; and her siblings, John Clayton, Frankie Clayton, Sam Clayton, George Clayton, Joe Clayton, Helen Howell, Rose Baugh, Vi Cullison, Annabelle Hollars, Melva Hoskins and Berthie Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Harden (Robert) and Joe Byers (Terri); her foster son Carmen Vincent (Christina); her sister Ruby Baker; her grandchildren, Brittany, Amber, Amanda, David, Levi, Bailey, Kaleigh Brooke, Brandi and Andrea; and her great grandchildren, Steven, Gavin, Millie, Ella Ruth and Cayson.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
