He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Holmes and Myrtle Holmes (Long); his wife Janice Turner; his grandson Devon Holmes; and his siblings, Gene, Bob, Don Holmes, Gloria McArtor and Florence Ashcraft.
He is survived by: his son Garry Holmes (Sondra McWilliams) of Springville; his grandsons, Ricky Holmes (Robin) of Springville and Eric Holmes (Cherie) of Bedford; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Cruz, Celina and C'Aira Holmes; his great great grandchild Remington Keith Holmes; and his sister Ann Marie Shelton of Springville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
