He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Gunderson, Kenneth C. Gunderson, Marysia Gunderson and Mark Gunderson (Pilar); his grandchildren, Kenneth M. Gunderson and Thomas G. Gunderson; his son Michael Gunderson (Shelley); his grandchildren, Jessica Gunderson and Robert Gunderson; his child Thomas Gunderson; and his sister-in-law Janet Gunderson (John).
He also supported charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
