He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Hammer (Mary Baker Hammer) and Mary Hammer; and his brother Michael Hammer. He is survived by: his children, Jayla Hammer (Kyle McWhorter), Roger Jarren Hammer (Danielle Carrion) and Reneal; his grandson Archer McWhorter; and his siblings, Merlin Hammer, Jacob Hammer, Robert Hammer, Lisa Hammer, Kathy Abbott, Jackie Kish (Matt), Mary Bir, Faye Sargent, Michelle Hammer (Bob Steele) and Theresa Todd. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes to help defray funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
