Bishop David Eugene Marcum Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2025, at the age of 70, Bishop David Eugene Marcum of Stendal, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude E. Marcum and Mildred Irene Marcum (Keaton); his siblings, Martha Holmes, Linda Raetz, Claude, Donald and Robert Marcum; his parents-in-law, James Sr. and Charlotte Evans; and his brother-in-law Tim "Bubba" Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Evans-Marcum of Stendal; his children, Tracy Marcum (Jessica) of Gas City, Michael (Sara) of Gulf Breeze, Mary Schepers (Jeremy) of Dubois, David Marcum (Jami) of Huntingburg, Ryan Marcum of Stendal and Chris Marcum (Kara) of Stendal; and his brothers, Larry Marcum of Jasper and Ronald Marcum of Evansville. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Huntingburg Outreach Ministries (208 E 3rd St, Huntingburg, IN 47542). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at the Maple Grove Cemetery (1622 S 3rd St, Boonville, IN 47601).
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
