He is survived by: his mother Mary Jo Ruppel; his children, Tanner Ruppel (Erin) and Madison Dossett (John); his grandson John Henry Dossett III; and his siblings, Rob Ruppel (Gena), Ken Ruppel (Melanie) and Margie Ruppel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
