He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Allen Helms, Sr. and Betty Ann Helms (Mathis). He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy Isaac (Angel Helms) of Stinesville and Leonard Allen "Buddy" Helms III (Nancy Helms) of Chetek; and his siblings, Dennis Helms (Sheila) of Bloomington and Caroline Henson (Rick). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
